The Network Control Program (NCP) is the utility program
system managers and operators use to configure and control
DECnet for OpenVMS networks. System managers can also use
NCP to monitor network resources and test network components.
More on-line help is available from the Network Control Program
utility. To invoke NCP, enter the following command in
response to the DCL prompt:
$ RUN SYS$SYSTEM:NCP
The utility responds with the prompt:
NCP>
After you invoke NCP, you can enter HELP on any of the NCP commands.
